Jack Started in the Television industry 10 years ago and has worked across a variety of genres including studio work, documentaries, live entertainment, commercials, features, OBs, corporate and music videos.

Jack has a speciality in gimbles yet has a real passion for working with cameras. With a strong technical mind, excellent interpersonal skills, a strong understanding of TV production and experience across a broad range of shoots, he is an all-round candidate for any filming job.

Jack spent four years at Procam as a Senior Technician and Service Technician, working on various tasks from multi-cam shoots to car rigs to complete technical rigs. His responsibilities also involved prepping all kits for clients – this included cameras, lenses, lights, grip and audio. Jack was required to problem-solve daily, build specific platforms to meet client needs, and field phone calls with crews on location. Jack also helped crews during prep days and worked as a crew member on multiple shoots.

Jack is also an experienced Camera Assistant, and 2nd Operator with technical ability and understanding together with a willingness to be part of a team. Committed, motivated and confident, he has experience in live environments, corporate jobs, feature films, short films and reality television as well as special projects and documentaries.

Responsible for cameras and kit on a wide range of programmes from multi-camera location shoots to single-camera work on various applications filmed both in the UK and abroad, including Objective Scotland, Raise the Roof, BBC, STV, Bees Nees, REEF TV and 2020 Productions.

Jack tries to keep up with current production practices and the changes in production technology. His experience and commitment have provided a solid basis for all of the work that he has done and provided him with the ability to work with any camera format or come up with solutions on the spot.

Confident on all Camera Formats from RED and Arri to A7s and GoPro’s. Specialise in, Ronin 2, Ronin M/MX, Movi M15,
as well as Radio Mics, lighting and Grip work.

Jack has experience working in remote and overseas locations. He is willing to travel, as necessary, for any filming jobs.
